The air-cooled chiller compresses the refrigerant through a compressor, transforming it into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas. Then, these gases enter the condenser. In the condenser, air is used as the cooling medium, and forced convection of the air is carried away by a fan, taking away the heat of the refrigerant and transforming it from a gaseous state to a liquid state. The liquid refrigerant is then throttled and depressurized through an expansion valve before entering the evaporator. In the evaporator, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the cooling medium (such as water), reducing the temperature of the water and achieving the purpose of refrigeration. The cooled water is transported to the equipment or system in need of cooling through a circulation pump, absorbs heat, and then returns to the chiller for the next round of refrigeration cycle.
