The horizontal color mixer is a kind of equipment widely used in fields such as plastic processing, mainly used for mixing plastic pellets or other materials of different colors and materials.
When the horizontal color mixer is working, the motor drives the mixing blades to rotate, and the materials continuously tumble and mix along the barrel wall under the action of the mixing blades. The rotation direction and speed of the mixing blades can be adjusted according to the characteristics of the materials and the mixing requirements, so that the materials can be fully mixed during the stirring process.
Structural Features:
- Mixing Barrel: It is placed horizontally and is usually cylindrical, made of stainless steel, with good corrosion resistance and sturdiness. There are observation windows on the barrel body, which is convenient for observing the mixing situation of the materials.
- Mixing Paddle: It is installed inside the mixing barrel, and the mixing blades are driven by the rotating shaft for stirring. The shapes and arrangements of the mixing blades are diverse. Common ones include propeller type and blade type, etc., which can generate a strong stirring effect during the stirring process to fully mix the materials.
- Driving Device: The motor is located at one end of the mixing barrel and is connected to the mixing paddle through a reducer to provide power for the mixing paddle. The power of the motor is determined according to the equipment specifications and actual needs to ensure that the rotation speed and torque of the mixing paddle meet the production requirements.
- Discharge Port: It is located at the bottom of the mixing barrel, which is convenient for the materials to be discharged. Generally, a valve is set at the discharge port to control the discharge speed and flow rate of the materials.
